Privacy policy

The short version. Here has no accounts. What you write — your own affirmations and your journal — is stored on your iPhone and is never sent anywhere. We collect anonymous statistics about how the app is used, never about what it says, and you can turn those off in Settings.

Who we are

Here is made by Nuralabz (Poland), the controller of the small amount of personal data described below. You can reach us at tom@nuralabz.com.

What stays on your device

All of this is held in a database on your iPhone. We cannot see any of it.

• Reflections you write in the journal, and affirmations you write yourself
• Favourites, collections, and the lines you have read
• Your streak, topics, muted subjects, theme, app icon and reminder schedule
• The answers you gave during onboarding

Deleting the app removes it. You can also erase it without deleting the app:Settings → Your data → Erase data on this device.

What leaves your device

Anonymous usage statistics

We use PostHog, hosted in the European Union, to understand how the app is used — which screens people reach, whether onboarding is confusing, whether reminders get turned on. Events record that something happened, neverwhat it said: no affirmation text, nothing from your journal, none of your onboarding answers.

You are identified only by an anonymous identifier that comes from our payments provider. It names a purchase history, not a person: no name, no email address, no advertising identifier. Turn it off any time in Settings → Your data → Share anonymous usage.

Subscriptions

Purchases are handled by Apple and by RevenueCat, which checks whether a subscription is active. We never see your payment details. RevenueCat processes data outside the EU under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Crash reports

When the app crashes, Sentry (hosted in Germany) receives a report so it can be fixed: what went wrong, where in the code, and which version of iOS. We have deliberately turned off session replay, which would record your screen, and the option that attaches your IP address.

What we never do

• No advertising, and no data sold or shared with advertisers
• No tracking of you across other apps or websites — which is why Here never asks
• No profiling, and no automated decisions about you
• No reading of your journal, by us or by anything we send data to

Notifications, widgets and photos

Reminders are scheduled by your iPhone itself, with the words already inside them; nothing is sent from a server, and no one learns when you read one. Widgets read a small file shared between the app and the widget on your device. Saving an affirmation image asks only for permission to add photos, never to read your library.

Legal basis and how long we keep things

Usage statistics are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the app, and you can object at any time by turning them off. Purchase records are processed to perform our contract with you and are kept as long as required for tax and accounting. Crash reports are kept for 90 days. Anonymous usage events are kept for up to 12 months.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, for it to be corrected or deleted, for processing to be restricted, or object to it. Because Here holds no account, the only identifier we could match you by is the anonymous support ID shown at the bottom of Settings — include it and we can find what little there is. Write to tom@nuralabz.com and we will answer within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Here is rated 4+ but is written for adults, and it is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the app before the change takes effect. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
